Senior Pastor

Aaron Meadows currently serves as the Senior Chaplain at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and as the Wing Chaplain for the 315th Airlift Wing. Previously Aaron has served several local congregations, a large 5 campus college ministry, and several Air and Joint military assignments. Some of his favorite ministry experiences are leading mission trips to the hills of Rwanda and jungles of Ecuador and serving communion at 30,000 feet during Aeromedical Evacuation missions He lives on the Citadel campus with his wife (Christy) who is entering full-time ministry with FCA, and their three kids Elisea (15), Julia (12), and James (10). When he is not schooling his daughters in basketball, he is out running their dog Cooper or engaging in a competitive match of underwater rugby.

Associate Pastor and Discipleship Ministries

Aly has called Charleston home since beginning her journey at the College of Charleston, where she graduated with a degree in Secondary Education and English. She quickly realized that while she loved to teach, she was called to teach specifically about God and His ways in the world. Aly has been serving in ministry ever since and has particularly served in the local church and college ministry setting. In addition to serving at TCSC, Aly is a part-time Chaplain on staff at The Citadel and completed her M.Div. at Asbury Theological Seminary in 2024. She lives in downtown Charleston with her husband, William, their dog, Pearl, and rabbit, Poppy, and loves to spend time on the beach with a good book.

Worship Minister

Stephen came to Charleston in 2023 as a Chaplain at the Citadel and worship leader for The Church at Summerall Chapel. He graduated from Lander University in 2008 and worked as a registered nurse for 10 years before transitioning to full-time vocational ministry in 2018. He is also a Chaplain in the Air Force Reserves. He and his wife Christina have been married since 2009 and have three children: Elliot, Emmalynn, and Abigail. In his minimal spare time, he cultivates a variety of mischief and nerdy obsessions including chess, lock-picking, and cards/card magic.
